Participate in the work that God has given us to do here in our neighborhoods. We mobilize the resources of our church annually through drives and donations, volunteers, and outside organizations that serve the needs of our community. You can get involved in numerous ways to share the love and ministry of Christ, simply by reaching out to our staff.

Annual Outreach Events
Kids in Need
In the spring, we collect backpacks and school supplies for children in our community whose families are economically struggling. As a congregation, we sort and stuff the backpacks with school supplies. These packed backpacks are then distributed to the agencies surrounding us.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child shows God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. At back to school, Christ Church packs shoeboxes filled with gifts and an invitation to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. These boxes are collected and distributed worldwide by Samaritan’s Purse.
Thanksgiving Outreach
Each Thanksgiving Christ Church, working with local agencies, collects food for the needy in our community. This involves a large number of people, from the monetary donors to the volunteers who sort and distribute the food to the folks who coordinate the entire event.

Christ Church’s social service partners have a proven track record of effective service. We encourage our community to contribute their time and talents to our partner agencies. Please note that while we support these organizations, they are not Christ Church affiliated.
Matthew 25 Initiative
The M25 Initiative is an Anglican outreach that supports national compassion and mercy ministries, fulfilling the biblical call to love the least of these.
Anglican Relief and Development Fund
ARDF strengthens communities globally in times of need by coming alongside the local church and donations and volunteers. Locally, they organize and deploy volunteers to respond after natural disasters.

Real Options Pregnancy Care Center
RO empowers parents to make informed and biblical choices when facing an unplanned pregnancy or possible STI infection. Volunteers are trained to provide clerical services and biblical counseling for both expectant moms and dads.

Global Mission
A Legacy for Rwanda
Christ Church directs much of its global mission effort toward Rwanda—a beautiful country recovering from a difficult past. Since a nation-wide genocide in the early nineties, Rwanda has experienced amazing healing. Today, Rwanda has great hope, but rural villages are still searching for ways to care for their children.
Since 2019, Christ Church has partnered with the Province of Rwanda and Compassion International. We are annually building preschools, churches, nutrition programs, and child sponsorships for rural villages, with a goal to bless 1.2 million people in a geographic area barely larger than North Texas. As God calls us to be a church of compassion, Rwanda is a place where compassion can build an powerful legacy.
Education
Five preschools and three churches serving 750 families
Christ Church builds preschools and churches where families are isolated and 75% of Rwandan children lack educational opportunities. Attending school improves every aspect of a child’s life, keeping children safe and uplifting their future.
Nutrition
Daily nutrition programs serving 750 children
Christ Church has established multiple nutrition programs in conjunction with our rural preschools. One cup of enriched porridge provides a child with a daily supply of calories, vitamins, and nutrients, at an age when it is vital for their growth.
