Our ability to parent and love our children well is fueled by our relationship with God and our marital health. Yet we often stay so busy and over-extended with our children that we struggle to find time to prioritize our relationships. \nIn light of this\, Christ Church offers its families a monthly Parents Night Out and Youth Night. We provide childcare for newborns through grade twelve. Parents who are members of Christ Church may drop off their children with our professional staff and enjoy an evening out. No charge. \n\nNewborns and Toddlers: Drop off your children at the Nursery. DESCRIPTION:For students 8th grade and above. \nThis 8-week class prepares students for the rite of passage of Confirmation and equips them for a life of discipleship to Jesus. Students will explore basic Christian doctrine and practice from an Anglican perspective\, including instruction in the Holy Scriptures\, The Creeds\, The Lord’s Prayer\, and the Ten Commandments. \n\nMeets in the High School Room after the 11 a.m. service.\nMeets weekly on Sundays from February 9 – March 30.\nCompletion is prerequisite to receiving Confirmation at Christ Church.\n\nThis class is a great next step for students\, whether they feel ready to be Confirmed or are wrestling with their faith and would like to grow deeper and reaffirm their commitment to Christ. \nLunch is included. DESCRIPTION:Foundations focuses on basic Christian doctrine and practice from an Anglican perspective. Following the church’s great tradition of catechesis\, participants will receive systematic instruction in the Holy Scriptures\, The Creeds\, The Lord’s Prayer\, and the Ten Commandments. Once Foundations is completed\, participants are eligible to become members of Christ Church. \n\nChrist Church membership is prerequisite to receiving Holy Baptism\, Confirmation\, and Reception into the Anglican Communion. Parents wishing to baptize their children should complete Foundations first.\nFoundations is open to anyone who seeks to reaffirm their discipleship\, regardless of whether they become members. It is especially suitable for those who are new to Christ Church.\nChildren & Students. Childcare available through the Nursery up to 5th grade. If your child is seeking Baptism or Confirmation\, please contact us to learn about age-specific classes.\n\nFoundations makes use of To Be A Christian: An Anglican Catechism. Participants are given a PDF copy of the book and a coupon to purchase the book in the Christ Church Bookstore. \nLunch is included with your registration.

Register for tickets. \n\nAbout Yoel Ben David\nYoel came to faith in Jesus with his wife Adel while serving in the Head Rabbinical Corps of the IDF. He has served with Jews for Jesus for over 20 years now where he currently leads the ministry in Jerusalem. He was ordained an Anglican priest in 2018 after the last GAFCON gathering Jerusalem. He has 4 children\, one of whom has been serving as a combat soldier in Gaza during the last year.

Lewis \nAs Christians\, we have great reason to devote ourselves to the great books of the past. For in the great works of Christian history\, we find not only a corrective to our own errors\, but also a rich source of wisdom from those whose minds have been sanctified and transformed by the Holy Spirit. Reading old books is helpful. Reading the great books of the Christian tradition is vital. \nReading with the Saints is an opportunity to read some of the greatest and most influential books in Christian history\, one selection per month\, then discuss the profound and enduring questions posed by each text. What is the gospel? Who is Jesus Christ? What does it mean to follow him? How should the church relate to surrounding cultures? And what is distinctive about the Christian way of life? \n\nRegister below to join the group. Meetings are on Mondays monthly\, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and will include time for teaching\, discussion\, and prayer.\nParticipants are asked\, if at all possible\, to read the assigned text prior to the meeting.
