DESCRIPTION:We are excited for this special evening of fun and fellowship as we watch the Frisco Roughriders play the Wichita WindSurge and enjoy a night of all-church fellowship. \n \nChrist Church will sit together in the Home Run Terrace\, a private covered deck with ballpark seats and picnic tables\, great for watching the game and socializing. The night will be themed after the Dallas Stars hockey team—perfect for our Rector. \nAlso\, stay after the game for an all-church picture on the field! \n\nTickets are $30/person. You can pick up your tickets at the Will Call window outside the park.\nDinner is included with the ticket price: hot dogs\, hamburgers\, soft drinks\, and water.\nGates to Riders Field open at 6:05 and first pitch is at 7:05 p.m.\nFood is served from 6:30 to 8 p.m.\n\nRegister now and reserve space for your family.

DESCRIPTION:Acolytes are 3-12 grade students who help during worship services. As members of the altar party\, they carry the cross\, assist the clergy\, light the way during procession\, and serve as leaders and role models for other young people. \n\nTorch bearers: our youngest members light the way for processional\nCrucifers: experienced Acolytes carry the processional cross and serve as team leaders for other acolytes\n\nIf your student is interested in becoming an Acolyte\, they must attend an upcoming training with a parent. Please make plans to attend one of these two fall trainings: \n\nAcolyte Training Day: August 25\, 12:30 p.m. Sanctuary\nMake-up Day: September 15\, 12:30 p.m. Sanctuary\n\nAcolytes must be baptized\, have completed Communion Discovery class\, and commit to serve once a month.
