SUMMARY:Thanksgiving Outreach
DESCRIPTION:A time-honored Christ Church tradition\, mobilizing the abundance of our church family to help those less fortunate in the greater Plano community. \nTo Contribute\nHelp us provide nourishing meals to approximately 535 families in need and an additional 437 generous meal vouchers for senior residents and homeless youth in our community. \n\nEach $70 donation provides one large meal box for a family of six. The box contains a turkey\, rice\, beans\, apples\, oranges\, dry goods\, potatoes\, and onions—everything needed for a complete Thanksgiving!\n\nPlease donate online using the link below. You can also designate checks for the offertory by writing “Thanksgiving Outreach” on the memo line. Checks may be placed in the offering plate or delivered to the Ministry Center offices. \nGive Now \nTo Volunteer\nThanksgiving Outreach culminates in a large volunteer effort to box and deliver meals to our distributing agencies and churches. Volunteers are needed on Tuesday\, November 19 and Friday through Sunday\, November 22-24. Childcare for volunteers is available only on November 24 until 3:30 p.m. \nPlease recruit your family and small group to join our volunteers using the form below.
